The Scientist Who Became Your Dentist
Dr. Husaini’s path to dentistry wasn’t typical.
Born in Nigeria, he completed his early education there before moving to India for his Bachelor’s in Dental Surgery in 2006. In 2008, he came to the United States, where he pursued a Master’s in Clinical Research from New York University (2008-2010) and a Doctor of Dental Medicine from Boston University (2013-2015).
Before he ever picked up a dental instrument in private practice, Dr. Husaini spent three years as a research scientist at a head and neck cancer centre, studying the intersection of oral health and life-threatening disease. He’s published 10 peer-reviewed studies in leading medical journals on head, neck, and thyroid cancer.
That research background shapes everything about how he practices today. He doesn’t guess—he investigates. He doesn’t rush—he explains. And he doesn’t pressure—he educates.
‘I do not push any treatment nor do I pressure any patient,’ Dr. Husaini says. ‘I advise and educate. I empower patients to make informed decisions about their own care.’
Dr. Husaini has placed hundreds of dental implants and performed hundreds of smile makeovers. But ask him what gives him the most satisfaction, and he’ll tell you: ‘Ridding patients of dental pain. Giving them back their smile. Watching them leave feeling better than when they came in.’
He still calls patients after procedures. Still takes the time to show them exactly what he sees on the screen. Still believes your dentist should know you.
In his spare time, Dr. Husaini enjoys spending time with his kids, reading books, and playing video games.

Dr. Meghan Hernandez is a compassionate and dedicated dentist committed to helping patients feel comfortable, confident, and cared for at every visit. She earned her dental degree from Rutgers School of Dental Medicine, where she built a strong foundation in comprehensive, patient-centered care.
Originally from New Jersey, Dr. Hernandez is proud to call Monmouth County home, where she lives with her husband and two children. When she’s not in the office, she enjoys riding horses, traveling with her family, and spending weekends cheering on her kids at their basketball and football games.
Dr. Hernandez believes in creating a welcoming environment for patients of all ages and takes pride in building lasting relationships with the families she serves.
